For those boys/parents who are looking to get an individually formed mouthguard for the season we have organised a club discounted rate of $70 with Malcolm Kennard. Malcolm makes sports mouthguards for a number of professional sportsmen/women and his contact details are mobile 027 5232134. He is based at 88 Manukau Road just opposite the end of Owens Road. The process is a 10 minute impression session followed by a fitting session a few days later after the guard has been moulded. Having had this type of mouthguard made for my three boys for the last two seasons I can highly recommend these as they stay in the mouth, not hanging out the side or in your boy’s hand.
